A ripper at The Bus Stop.

15 Boats arrived today, warm sun, a nice SW breeze, and good social company, what more could we ask for?

Nigel 168 set a straight forward course that I had trouble sailing correctly, and we were into it.

15 boats on the course had their moments on some marks, particularly when the wind shifted south and dropped in strength. The slower speed had boats bobbing up and down without a lot of forward motion. All this was taken as it should and we just got on with the sailing.

Later in the day the wind shifted more to the south causing pin end congestion on the start. That said there were opportunities at the other end. We sailed a lot of races today to get to the RTW's. They were both won by Pat 39 so well done Pat.

We had Bob the visitor today. Bob is a sailor and has a Mk7 DF65 coming. He took control of 179 for a few races and showed some form by winning a race. When he comes down with his boat let's welcome him into the fleet.

Nice light for photos so enjoy them.
