Another warm afternoon for sailors to enjoy themselves. The ten starters today had a SW breeze to start that backed round to NE as the afternoon wore on.

Fairly light and fluky at times.

Ian 188 put a course on the board and they were off.

Plenty of winners today as the top of the course was very tricky and full of passing opportunities.

Nigel uplifted all the buoys on Thursday and spent a lot of time replacing the buoys and ropes in a major upgrade.

Thank you Nigel from all of us who enjoy the racing.

In addition a big thanks to the Burnsco DF65 Boys at Burnsco Tauranga who kindly paid for the cordage.

The improvement in visibility is easily seen when you compare the nes ones with the couple of old ones still there.

Lots of good comments from the sailors.

The buoys were provided from our club funds so to help with that please attend to your club subscription if it is outstanding.

New sailors should go to the club website and download a membership application form.

All the information is there.

For me it was nice to get to the lake to take in some of the fun today.
