Graham NZL104 was thinking ahead and when I arrived at the lake a Gazebo was up and a second one was on its way.
The rain had started and it stayed until we were almost finished racing.
The shelter was absolutely brilliant.
Thanks to all the helpers.
But wait, there's more, the Club has provided a new audible starter for the DF65 fleet and Nigel 168 has done a wonderful job of mounting it on his tripod. Pictures are included. Thank you Nigel.
Fourteen skippers had fun racing today in a very light NE breeze.
Nigel set a testing course that had plenty of passing lanes and we were into it.
The first beat was continually changing and it was interesting watching skippers cope.
We raced right through to 4PM then packed away the Gazebo shelter and headed home.
Lots of winners today and it was great seeing small competitions taking place down through the fleet.
That's how we work our way up to being a winner and having fun on the way.
