Spring and winter at The Bus Stop.
What started as a very nice warm spring day turned into a cold bleak winter's day. The wind was up from the SW and so was the chop. A great outlook for some special sailing. 13 boats on the line gave rise to some tight starts including the odd prang as we were backed up against the boardwalk. Good stuff to check out your boat handling.
Lester 17 Showed some blistering form in the breezy conditions and I noticed he let a few others in for a win now and then - well done Lester.
Harry 555 and Trevor 22 were on the receiving end of some very worthwhile coaching from Nigel 168, both skippers sailing nicely.
I couldn't handle the cold later in the day so I left early for a hot cuppa tea and a lie down.
The RTW's went to Pat 39, Nigel 168, and Graeme 230, nice work lads.
