Cool at The Bus Stop for DF65 Fun racing.

A cool crisp SW breeze coming straight down the lake gave the lads something to get their teeth into today. We've had a lot of light wind through the winter so it was good to get moving quickly today. Eleven boats all keen to sail after Monday's outing. The Silver Ferns lost to the Ausie's last night, but that didn't get a mention.

Bob 909 had been watching the IOM World Champs and he stepped up to lay out an International course for us. Racing got down to business quickly and Bob used his knowledge of the course to whack in a couple of quick wins. The boys were on to what he was up to and wins started to be shared around.

Garry 54 threw in a guest appearance, but it took a race or two for him to tune up and get to the front of the fleet. Then there was Ross 163 who threw in a couple of blinders. So, as you can see, it was a fun afternoon. There were a few mark rounding differences of opinion that were quickly sorted and racing continued through to the RTW's. Race 1 went to Garry 54 and Race 2 went to Nigel 168.

Well done everyone, an enjoyable afternoon's sailing

Enjoy the photos
