A very light breeze, but something different happened at The Bus Stop.

Pat 239 has been working away behind the scenes to start a DF95 sailing group at The Bus Stop.

Today was the inaugural race day and nine skippers turned out for an afternoon's sailing.

Nigel 128 set a gate course that was reasonably short to take into account the light breeze.

Some enjoyable racing was had and comments on the venue and timing were positive.

At the end of sailing the traditional RTW race was run with Pat 239 taking the win.

If you are a keen DF95 sailor and want to join in, be there next Friday for a 1:00 pm.

Make yourself known to Pat and he'll launch you into the new TRSC Tauriko DF95 WhatsApp Group so that you can be kept in touch.

Finally, thankyou from Pat to all those skippers who came to support the day.

Report and photos compiled by Nigel 128 - thank you
