The bitter cold wind made slightly unbearable by a refreshing breeze that finally arrived at The Bus Stop.
It was a perfect day for the challengers that lay ahead for the 13 skippers on board with the sun beaming down, then all that was needed was a temperature boost.
The wind was blowing directly from the south , gaining strength throughout the afternoon and occasionally reaching the upper limits of our A rigs.
Later, it subsided to a more moderate breeze, but the oscillations continued to make racing challenging .
The RTW two races saw Tim 144 take the first win , followed by John 201, both having impressive victories . Well done to you both .
By 3.30 pm, the event came to an abrupt end, much to 168's disappointment as there were no further opportunities to win the last RTW .
The cold weather had also taken its toll on everyone it seems.
The day turned out to be amazing, with everyone actively taking part and contributing to the lively environment.
