Pleasant conditions continue at The Bus Stop.
A tight squad of five boats turned out today. Clive 169 and Peter 226 just back from holiday enjoyed the afternoon on the water.
The wind was fickle for the first half hour. Pete179 set a course for it, but then the wind changed giving us downwind starts. We did a couple of those then another course change to take account of the NE breeze that settled in. We were then really into it and had some excellent racing.
Down the lake at The Jetty, Seven boats enjoyed excellent A+ racing, again after the NE breeze settled in. The skippers are settling in with their big rigs with John R from Papamoa setting the pace. It's great to have a benchmark in a fleet to allow you to gauge how you are performing.
A couple of RTW at The Bus Stop, Rob 501 and Pete 179 were the winners.
