Looks like I am old but still on my feet.
This is the 3rd Corbie one meter yacht that I have built a most enjoyable challenge.
I look forward to seeing how it sails.I hope Graham gets a lot of pleasure racing it.

16/6/21 Kens built a amazing Winch bracket and front pully holder, rudder pin mounted. Keel step plate so another dozen steps closer

12/6/21 - I went around to Kens tonight. The shell is looking fantastic, light and the hull is very stiff.
Deck to go on soon. Tonight we mapped out the winch, servo positions
I have giving Ken a lot more internal work to do before the decks are fitted. Sorry
So excited to see how she will eventually sail, I have a good feeling : ) : ) : )
28/5/21 More progress got the profiles out with out any damage done ready to seal the inside now.
26-5-21 Well I have put the cloth and resin on got fingers crossed
23/5/21 - Well I am moving on with my project. I have been hand sanding with sandpaper glued to flexible ply.
A slow job making sure the job is how I want it.
Next is to put some fiberglass cloth on .If any one has been watching the progress hope its interesting.

You would think after 20 years IOM designers would be narrowing in on one shape, but no they are not yet.
The new generation of bigger NZ boats appears to be a step faster than the previous generation, so time to try a very different shape to catch back up.
Gave my mate Jeff B in Aussie a call. All my three race boats in my shed are fast and where designed by Jeff, He has not put me wrong yet :)

So I transferred the funds, and in the mail we got a thick how to manual and frame profiles. So here we go again with a very different concept.
When I say we, I mean Ken. Ken picked up some local white cedar and milled it all down to 2mm.
