Excellent wind brought the boys out to play at The Bus Stop

Eleven boats took to the water and had heaps of fun this afternoon. A big feature of the racing today was the shiny red buoys with white numbers. Dragon boats hogged the lake last weekend and our buoys were removed by Nigel, Pat and Kent after last Thursday's racing. Nigel spent the three days water blasting, painting, and polishing the nine buoys and fixing the rope droppers. This morning they were returned to the water by the team and we went racing. Thanks a million for all that work guys.

Very happy sailors raced in excellent breeze through to mid afternoon when Nigel 168 added another leg to the course after a wind increase. The races were going through too quickly. Lots of happy winners, sailing well to set the pace.

Garry 54 won two RTW's and Pat 39 took out the other one.

On a sombre note we took a minute to recognise John 137 McMillan

Who passed away last weekend.

John was one of our up and coming new skippers

who was learning a lot as he had never sailed before joining us.

RIP John.

Enjoy the photos.
