A warm pleasant afternoon to be out sailing at The Bus Stop.
A nice fleet of boats came out to enjoy the excellent conditions today. Eleven skippers raced very competitively around an interesting course set by Nigel 168.
The weather was warm, the breeze was up, and you were among friends, what more could you ask for.
Today we had Guest skipper David from the USA, chartering 168 and getting used to a twitchy DF65 instead of a TP52 Ocean Racer. Well done David.
Lester 17 showed early form and took out a number of races ealy on. Rob 501 spent most of the time tuning and detuning 501 whilst sailing pretty well in between. Trevor 22 was leaping out at the start, but had a few issues with gusts and the fleet overwhelmed him. Practice makes perfect they say? Pat 39 showed up late and peeled off a couple of wins straight away, well done Pat.
Three RTW's today, Nigel 168, Kent 717, and Pat 39 all recorded wins. Let's hope Thursday is as good as today, see you then.
