A nice fine Thursday afternoon at Tauriko, but a SW wind that went straight through us.

The breeze was up there at top end standard rig at times and plus a bit.

There was a good chop thrown in so plenty of drive was needed in the settings.

Thirteen starters today all raring to go.

We had two divisions today, standard A rig and A+ rig.

Four starters in the A+ were getting some laps in prior to the Auckland Champs.

It was interesting watching them adapt to the conditions that were testing to say the least.

Meanwhile the A's were charging around having a great time.

There were a few spinouts and mining displays, but in general the fleet handled the breeze well.

Lots of winners and plenty of small margins.

Bring on more of this,

our boats love it.

Pete 197 today.
