DF65 racing at The Bus Stop

What a magic Springtime afternoon today turned out to be. There was a serious nip in the up to 25knot breeze from the SW. Tim 139 had his wind gauge and it registered 25 in the gusts. We had a steep chop to sail in that required power to drive through. Lots of settings changes took place early on. We had 13 boats on the start line and that made interesting situations in gusts.

Boat management skills were tested, particularly when trying to tack and on the downwind runs. Some serious spinouts and nose dives were noted.

Pete179 and Nigel 168 had wins in the final RTW races for the day while Rob 501 had his Dragon scorching the circuit early in the afternoon. Lots of other winners

Some interesting photos today, enjoy them.
