Thanks for everyone for your Support today. Omokoroa, Tga Flying Club (including Morrisonsville) , Team Papamoa and those that brought spare boats for others to use :)
Team Katikati and Team Waihi could make it today. But there is strong interest in Thursdays.

Local report - i was running a bit late for the 1pm start.
I watched a DF65 video on mast rake and re did my forestay which took longer than planned. Anyway i make it and everyone was waiting.
The wind was non existing, however like clockwork the 1pm Lakes Breeze arrived and we had a fanatic drift around in sunny, warm conditions all afternoon. Most race starts were handicapped on your previous race results. Pack getting a 30 head start on the rest...
Plenty of laughs and discussion on what i would do better next time.

Hi Guys
Trevor, Steve and Bryan went to the Lakes DF65 today and Trev said that it was a really good day,
with quite a turnout and lots of good tips from model sailing guru, Graham R (son of OBC Yachting starter)
Unfortunately I got held up by a truck breakdown and didn’t make it.
But anyway, this looks like a good option for those wanting to try a bit of racing.
And how about we get an OBC team for the 5hr teams race on 5th September.
