DF65 at The Bus Stop.

I arrived late after a visit to the dentist. We had a smaller fleet of eight today which made racing a bit easier as the marks were a little less cluttered.

It was reported that there was a 501 escapee in the shape of a Mk5 DF65 sailing off on its own and not responding to its skipper when commanded to return to shore. It was headed to the jetty and sailing very nicely. The Skipper said bugger, I forgot to turn on the power. Just another day in the office for Nigel and Rescue One. How embarrassing could that be for an experienced DF65 skipper?

The breeze was from the south today and reasonably steady. Great fun racing today. I heard Pat 39 was the man to beat early on as he was showing glimpses of deadly form. The wins were pretty much spread while I was there so Pat must have lost his mojo.

Another great day on the water, thanks for coming guys.
