What a turnout at The Bus Stop!

Sixteen boats arrived at the lake today.  That was a great fleet to see on the water.  We had some interesting starts with that number of boats vying for the best starting spot. Nigel 168 set an interesting course into a northerly breeze that kicked in right on time.

The wind shifted a bit to the right so after a few races a change of course order was made and we move to a new start line.

Pete 448 Matata shoes early form with the Dixon boys chasing him down. . All good fun. Tony No No was in training down in the south corner and was game enough to have a go at a couple of races. Well done Tony.

Trevor came down for a look and tried sailing for his first time using Pete 179. He really enjoyed the experience.

Racing was exciting and close today with lots of happy winners.

Some were getting used to the venue in readiness for the 5 Hour Race on Monday.

If you haven't entered, you should find a mate and enter. 23 OCT 23 DF65 Five Hours (jotform.com)

We ended the day with two "Round The World" races, both won by John 611,   well done John.
