A small but tight group today at The Bus stop.
Six starters on what became a great day's racing. Nigel 168 hit us with a comprehensive course that almost filled the racecourse board. The breeze was light from NW with lots of hooks in it that created numerous holes that popped up out of nowhere. That made racing very interesting. The small fleet meant there were very few incidents and those that happened were mostly caused by inappropriate gusts coming out of nowhere.
We had really competitive racing today. That gave rise to a lot of races being sailed. Pete 197 had boat breakdown issues and left early.
The usual RTW's at the end of the session were won by John 201, who was again sailing well, Nigel 168 who took race 2 and the ever consistent Clive 997 taking out the last race of the day.
We had a new skipper join us briefly with his new DF65. We will see more of him as he gets organised.
