Hi all, webmaster here.
I have a quick update as promised.
Is it time to go sailing? How are you feeling?
I have only talked to a few of you over the last couple of weeks,
My small bubbles is still in tacked like a lot of you
But i am assuming, if your like me,
Most of us are ready to go out for a sail out at the Lakes
and stretch our bubbles a little more with our sailing friends.
With this rain over the last few days, i am hoping the algae has been diluted.
The government just announced from 12 noon Friday 29 May, gatherings can be held with up to 100 people.
So how can we all make this work at the Tauranga Lakes?
We still need to keep our 2 metre distance from strangers which is difficult at our jetty
however will be are allowed to be sociable with 100 people in an open area, as long as we keep records.
I have proposed to the committee a slight change in venue to give us this 2 metre social distancing from public until everyone is comfortable to rub shoulders again with public at our jetty.
Let me know your thoughts ?
This coming saturday the current weather map does not look great.
But i own wet weather gear and would be keen
(no such thing as bad weather, just poorly dressed :)
See you soon
