8 DF95's raced from the jetty.
The day started with a defribulator and associated equipment demonstration by Dennis Shepard followed by a visit to the club dinghy stowage.  Safety rules were also outlined to ensure sailors knew the club rules and why these are necessary.
The wind was there although swinging from the SW making which way to go sometimes a lottery but heh that's sailing.
JR got it right most races and was difficult to get past racking up a number of wins.
He also won the first Round the World with Nigel taking out the 2nd RTW.
Apologies no pics today.
A very enjoyable afternoons sailing.

In any major medical emergency out at the Tauranga Lakes

We ask you dial 111 for assistance on a local phone or mobile,

and at the same time, please send someone to get our AED (defib) immediately, Just in case it may be needed later.

We are sailing at either Lakeview Quay or Scoria Close, Tauriko, Tauranga,  (Near the Crossing Shopping Center)

Our Defib is located on the side of our dinghy shed.  The sealed plastic box on the dingy shed closes the entry gate.

If an AED is put on a person with a cardiac arrest within 3 minutes they have a good chance, Every minute thereafter there odds decrease rapidly.
