A new champion at The Bus Stop.
It was a fine, but cold day on the bank today. Eight boats enjoyed a wonderful SW breeze that came all the way down the lake. A longer course was set today because of the wind strength ( see photo)
We don't know what Clive 998 has been doing to his boat deep in the bowels of his garage, but today he was on fire. He came out firing and peeled off six wins in a row, brilliant Clive! We thought that might be a record for our club days.
Welcome to new skipper John McMillan (179 today) who has been working on his skill with Trev 22 down in the Paddling Pool. He is getting to grips with a totally new concept of sailing a DF65. If you see him coming your way, I suggest you do a runner, but give him your support.
Two RTW's today, the first was a very long race won by Pete 197 who was hounded all the way by Colin 990. The second race was unidirectional. Nigel 168 gave us a lesson in that one.
All in all, a brilliant day on the water again.
