DF65 racing Thursday at Tauriko.

A good fleet with hardy skippers dressed

in a lot of winter gear set the scene for the afternoon's sailing.

Reaching starts caused a bit of agro on the start line with barging happening

with a lack of 360 degree turns for fouls.

Sailors need to fix this up as it won't be tolerated if you do some competition sailing,

so come on boys play the game.

You will be better sailors if you comply with the rules during fun sailing on the lake.

Garry came over from Papamoa and had a great afternoon showing us his stern,

well done Garry you sailed well.

The conditions varied from nice breeze to nothing,

generally from south west and big shifts.

Nigel set a good course that had a bit of everything in it.

Cold, but enjoyable were the words for the day.
