Tricky breeze at The Bus Stop

Ten boats today on another mind blowing course by Nigel 168. I saw Adrian 136 get lost transiting this course whilst leading the fleet.

Lots of winners today and not too many passing lanes which meant good starts were really important.

A buoy rounding incident gave rise to an orderly discussion that resulted in some gentle advice being given that resulted in a penalty turn being dished out.

As the breeze lightened late in the day, we had an RTW race. Pat 39 got out to a good lead with the fleet chasing hard. A couple of soft spots saw Pat wringing out his transmitter in the hope of a little extra speed. He got the win in the end closely followed by Garry 54. So ended another nice day on the water.

Thanks to Nigel 168 for using his powerful arms to row the boat and lift our buoys for the Waka Racing this weekend.
