Talk about hot, that's the weather and the racing today.

An excellent easterly breeze made for nice sailing.

There were some big hoes to avoid, but they did provide opportunities for passing.

It was hard to keep track of who to watch out for as different winners came thick and fast.

Welcome to Adrian (No No) and Travis 199,

both very competitive sailors.

The fleet was 12 boats all performing well.

Something went pear shaped today, 104 never made it, damn work breaking into sailing time.

Thanks for the day sailing guys,

most enjoyable

I enjoy racing you guys today.

There was a discussion on Sail Numbering.

Find New Zealand DF Sail Numbers here.

There are local numbers that have been allocated,

but this is the official Number.

You may find the number you have on your sail is still available.

Go to the NZ web page to check. NZ DF Sail Numbers here.

This is important should you wish to sail a competition in the future. Numbers are required on Jib and Main. Starboard above port, see diagram attached.
