A grey old day at The Bus Stop, but the sailing was fantastic.

Ten enthusiastic sailors fronted up to a very nice SW wind that at times had a sting in its tail. Lots of races today. Not many skippers were making in flight adjustments. Nigel 168 RO set a wonderful course with gates top and bottom and good sailing in between.

Today we had Rick who was on holiday from Canada. He chartered 179 for his first DF65 experience and after a while set the pace with a couple of good wins. He's really hooked and is off home tomorrow to try to start a fleet in his hometown.

Lots of winners today, but of particular mention is RO Nigel 168 who struggled a bit with his form during the day. I'm not sure what he did to himself, but he came out of the blocks in both RTW races to win them both with good margins. Great sailing Nigel.

I watch a lot of races today and I have to say I was impressed with the standard of the fleet, well behaved and enjoying the day - now that's what it's all about.

Enjoy the photos.

Pete, mainly watching 179.
