When I left home it was raining and there was a strong cold west wind. When I got to the lake there was no rain, no wind, and a few old jokers standing around wondering what's next. That was the conditions for the early part of the afternoon, a puff from here and a puff from there and it was puffing from everywhere. The skippers were getting scratchy and Gary 54 threatened to go home. It was only the list of jobs his wife had for him that cleared his mind that he should stay.

Then out of nowhere a breeze lit up the old jokers and racing was on. We had some good races from then on through the afternoon with lots of winners. Tim 139 showed glimpses of form, but it was Garry 54 who sailed well to take out the 'Round The World' final race.

A great afternoon fun sailing after all
