Solid SW at The Bus Stop

When I got to the lake it was cold, but the sun was out and it was blowing hard. Nigel 168 had his anemometer out checking if there was enough wind. I can assure you there was. He logged 18 knots in the gusts and steady periods of 10, then opened his van and pulled out 168 wearing a "B Rig" . Rob 501 had launched and was scorching around the place, so that set the scene and we were into it.

Nigel 168 set a course that avoided the real bad wind areas and the nine boat fleet started to race, and boy did we race. Nigel decided we were going so fast that the race track needed extending. This happened twice and then some real good races resulted. Hats off guys for turning out, I know you all enjoyed yourselves in some breeze for a change.

Enjoy the photos.
