DF65's Thursday at Tauriko.

The day didn't look too flash, but six keen skippers went to the lake for some fun sailing. The wind was right down the lake from the south and puffing at times, but much less than predicted on Phil's weather forecaster.

At home around lunch time Nigel predicted it was a "B" rig as the breeze was strong and so made his selection. Arriving at the lake all the other skippers saw it differently and chose "A" rigs. Guess what, the breeze at the lake was way less than predicted by Phil and Nigel so Nigel was down on power.

Good racing was had for the afternoon with Graham and John showing the way with Ian and Tim having their turns on the podium. Nigel spent time with Mike tuning etc and that resulted in a win for Mike in the final race. Sorry, no photos today.

What looked like a tough afternoon turn out not too bad.
