Monday again and it's a cracker sailing day. We have been very fortunate this summer to have all of this warm fine weather for our sailing.

Nine keen skippers today and a light southerly forecast that was on the money. Nigel has made some changes and was a new man today. 168 showed some very good speed and he was smiling again after a series of early wins. Welcome back Nigel.

Graeme 137 was fairly happy with his performance today as I didn't see the yellow boat out once! Keith 127 had a severe loss of power and Rescue 1 flew into action. Nigel took Rescue right to the other side of the lake and with one pass had 127 in tow, well done Nigel.

Mike Dragon 65 got a sneaky start and cleared out for a blistering win while Rob Dragon 50 was right in the mix. Tim 139 showed spurts of good form, but some decisions let him down.

Remember Papamoa 1:00pm Tuesday for some good racing.
