Weekly Sailing Report – 23rd October 2024
Another eventful afternoon unfolded on the water today, marked by a challenging course that had us all zigzagging our way across the waves. Whether it felt like mastering windward beats or taking a driving test for the oldies (like myself!), the race was nothing short of thrilling.
The competition was fierce, with no holds barred as we all scrambled to capitalize on the shifting winds, aiming for the first mark. Each sailor gave it their all, and the excitement built steadily throughout the afternoon. The racing concluded with a familiar route from the bridge to the bus stop, or vice versa, but no less competitive.
In the end, Graham R came out on top, securing another impressive win.
Congratulations to all the participants for another great day of racing. Until next time!
Cheers,
Ken
