Nine Hardy sailors braved the bus stop today.

Fairly light westerlies were oscillating all around the compass,

finally building into a more moderate breeze with a cold southerly wind chill factor but pleasant all the same with some good sailing conditions. Nine boats fronted the line today.

Gary 54 gave us all a master lesson as to why he's the top national DF65 skipper. Many of us tried to hunt him down without a lot of success I might add.

There were a number of interested visitors who got a chance to try out one of these fun boats hoping they might return with one of their own some day .

Thanks to those skippers that took part in facilitating their desires, much appreciated.

Roll on summer!

Three RTW races ended today's sailing, the wins going to, yes you guest it, Gary 54 the first two followed by Nigel 168 the final one.

Report and photos by Nigel 168 with some help from Pete 179.
