Another good nights sleep Saturday Night in the Wellington kiwi motor camp in Upper Hut.'

Up at Lake Whitiby Sunday morning the fountain was now going. Wind speed meter less must be less than 15 knots and the spray no longer washing the neighbors washing. So must be A Rig ! So pulled out the gear put together a Number one rig for the Corbie5

9.30am and I put rigged the Nitro and put her on the water for a test, and tried to tune her up for the tricky mid A rig shift conditions. After 1/2 an hour of playing I settled on the best compromise for the variable medium shifty race conditions.

10am Briefing then we were off again. Very different day, the order of the day was to get a good start, sail shift smart to try to get to the top mark first. Then a quick reach, then around the spreader and try to be first to the puff. At the bottom Left or Right Mark ??? Then again watching boats in front to see what might come to you next.

Again very tight racing today with everyone having turns in the front and at the back.

Prize giving in the Pub 30 meters from the race course, and we were all off home to get dry.. (I made Taupo before hitting the hay)

Mega thanks to the Wellington Crew for putting on the perfect regatta. Great winds, perfect venue, great company.

And of course those magic lunch muffins each day. Thanks Helen

I think everyone when home happy and tired. See you all next time... :)
