Another special sailing day at The Bus Stop.

Nine starters today, and some notable skippers were absent. Discussion ensued around, where are the boys? The fleet we had was ideal for the day as the breeze was up and from W to WNW with solid gusts thrown in to make it top of A Rig range. Having said that, as the day wore on the breeze backed off leaving some nice holes.

A bit of drama when 137 decided it didn't want to play any more and headed for the Northern shore. Some boats attempted to herd 137 back, but she acted like a wounded bird and kept escaping the flock. Then out of nowhere came Rescue One at full speed and took over the rescue beautifully shepherding 137 to safety. The crowd on the back went wild at what they had just witnessed. Top marks Rescue One. See photos.

We had a couple of visitors today, Trevor from Copper Crest Village took over 179 and had some fun learning to sail. Brian, an ex IOM sailor came to join in the fun. Nigel 168 spent some time with Brian discussing boat setup etc. When the rescue popped up, Nigel left Brian to sail 168 to keep it out of danger. Brian was impressed how nice it was to sail and disappeared off home to get his boat race ready.

Lots of happy winners today. The day finished with our usual RTW races. Denis 308 sailed well to take the first two races, with Pete179 taking the last one.
