A splendid afternoon fun sailing our 65's at The Bus Stop
Ten skippers were happy to be sailing at the lake this afternoon. Racing was intense as the light breeze from the north had some tricks up its sleeve. Nigel 168 tested us with a tricky, but fair course that took a while to master. Starting was a torrid affair with everyone wanting to be first away. A bit of barging showed occasionally and was generally penalised.
Today reading your sails was a must. Those who didn't suffered the consequences and saw the transom of a lot of boats often.
Three keenly contested RTW's today, Pat 239 won one and Pete 179 took the other two. Well Done.
