A blast at The Bus Stop

Plenty of breeze today, Top end of B Rig bordering on C Rig. A small fleet today of four plus Harry 433 really struggling with his A Rig. Top marks to Harry for stickability. He was battered and slammed, but hung in for some thrilling sailing.

The rest of us had a fantastic time trying to hold things together. Nigel 168 performed well and was probably the form skipper having raced his Wee Bee rig last week and having a good feel for the conditions. The rest of us took a while to bed in and iron out some wrinkles. Rob off 501 had a few races with 197 and got in the groove to win one race, Well done Rob.

We had two RTW races to finish the day with Garry 54 clear winner in race 1 and Pat 39 clearing out to win race 2. Well done guys.

If this is the wind pattern for this year I can see a flurry of B Rig purchasing within the fleet.

Great fun afternoon getting our cobwebs blown out.

Pete 197 with Wee Bee.
