Cripes, Summer arrived at The Bus Stop

Summer arrived alright, 26 degrees today and the sun was powerful. Twelve skippers lined up for a wonderful afternoon's racing. The wind was great, SW, and moderate, but steady. Our little boats loved it.

Lester 17 and Graeme 230 were running hot today with good wins. The rest of us picked up the scraps except for Nigel 168 who did a hoodini in the RTW for a tidy win.

Guess what, we had no sinkings today, but one rescue, Pete 179 in the reeds.

Thanks to the buoy recovery team for attending to that chore. This weekend we are off the lake to let the Waka's have some racing. If you have a bit of time to come and watch you will find it quite spectacular. It's normal racing again on Monday. The buoy replacement team will be there early.

Enjoy the photos.
