Wind from the South and 27degrees from the Sun at The Bus Stop.

The fleet was back to normal at twelve boats and some eager skippers. Trevor Coleman sailed his new boat for the first time today. His number 22 is on the way so give him encouragement and help to settle into his new hobbie of radio controlled sailing. I'm sorry I missed getting a photo of 22.

Nigel 168 set a course through No4 buoy which proved to be a challenge. Those choosing the port approach had to be very aware of the boats coming in fast on starboard. There were some good collisions on occasions. Some excellent wins to lots of skippers with No 4 helping.

A shortened course RTW was called by Nigel 168 and with the breeze going up and down, decisions on which way to go were critical. Tim 144 took the first race, Pete 197 took the second and Rob 501 took the unidirectional third race.

A real fun racing day at The Bus Stop today.

Important Notice:

With the NZ Champs being sailed on the lake at Easter RO Nigel 168 invites skippers with A+ rigs to come and race with us at The Bus Stop on Monday and Thursday up to the week before the champs. He will have a separate start for the A+'s. Come and join us on the Lake, first day Monday 31 March. There's plenty of room for everyone.

Some interesting photos and a couple of rough videos.

Pete 197 today.
