Sunday morning I spent the morning in the shed struggling trying to find a CP210 driver to talk to my hobby king T6a transmitter

(unsuccessfully after7 hours #$&*!)

After giving up, then lunch I headed north to Waihi. I arrived to see Dennis with a raceable J Class number 15 all kitted out with new sails from Jim and fully going. Here he say, go racing :) :) :) thank you so much Dennis and Jim :) & Roger and David gave us another couple of T6a radios, thanks everyone !!!

A great afternoon spent with the Waihi Group smashing around Lake Gilmore on a blusterer afternoon racing J Class yachts.

On the way home, one of those ah ha moments. Cut off the old CP210 usb, and connect the lead to one of my ardunio Uno's as the USB serial interface.

The Uno serial interface works a treat and no more stuffing around trying to find old drivers.

I also found this link and the newer T6a software program is a lot easier to use than the T6config. Paid $2 US. Worth every cent...

So it is now Monday morning, Anzac Day here in NZ and a public holiday.

So watch the dawn service on Tv. Play with some electronics on the bench and head off for a DF65 sail 1pm today at the Lakes :)
