Another excellent afternoon to be out in the fresh air sailing DF65's in good air.
My Agent gave me a verbal report through which I am pleased to report to you. I cannot imagine anyone guessing who that might be.
Nine boats today all gunned up to race except for Harry who, as I understand it, thought his boat was OK to sail with a hole in the back. Yes, the dreaded missing bung strikes again. Worst luck was Harry didn't realise the issue and stuff got very wet causing him to withdraw for the rest of the day. Hard lesson Harry, we were all sorry for you, and hope your gear dries out for racing on Monday.
What else happened?
Garry wore his 'B Suite' and went well when the breeze was up.
Nigel tried his 'A+ Suite' and failed then quickly swapped over to his 'A Suite' for a much better result.
Paul 737 sailed some fantastic races, while Kel 77 also performed very well.
Skippers struggled at times with the huge wind swings, heavy gusts and sometimes found the wind changed 180 degrees, and choppy water.
My Agent reported heaps of happy faces after a great afternoon sailing DF65's
Sorry, no photos today.
