Another cracker day's racing at The Bus Stop.
A small group of six boats raced today in some very fickle wind mainly from SSE. It was a test of stamina to say the least, with massive shifts created by our friend on the point, "Big Tree" Anyway we used the shifts to our advantage and avoided the knocks where we could. This is great training stuff that can lead to skippers sailing a lot better.
Don't think negatively, turn it into a positive advantage.
We had three RTW's today, two were follow the leader and the other went the way you chose. Rob 501 took off and cleaned us up in the first two, well done. The third was unidirectional with Graeme 230 making a late decision to go left and a few others followed, while Nigel 168 who was running second went right. After some nail biting stuff, Nigel168 came out the winner by a small margin.
