Nine weather hardened skippers turned out at Tauriko today. Plenty of wind from SW as predicted by the weatherman.
Nigel set a course that was sort of sheltered and racing was on.
Lots of knockdowns up wind and spinouts downwind.
Some issues putting in a tack and so boat handling/ survival was the order of the day.
A B Rig probably would have helped.
Nigel 168 was seen assisting with sail settings and somehow was photographed doing it.
Well done Nigel, those tips are not forgotten.
What more can be said?
Those who didn't sail missed a ripper!
