A bobby dazzler at The Bus Stop.
Ten happy sailors showed up for some keen racing today. A warm light NW breeze lifted as the afternoon progressed.
Nigel 168 set an appropriate course that tested the fleet specially around buoys 8 and 7. I saw lots of slick maneuvers taking place through that area.
Trevor 22 put the wind up us when he inadvertently released 22 without turning the power on. He told me he didn't push the switch rod in far enough. How many times have we heard that one? As is seen in the photos, a major rescue was mounted as 22 sailed around doing what it liked. Rescue 1 did it again in fine style - three cheers for Rescue 1.
Heaps of races today with Tim 144 on the starter button - thank you Tim.
There was a trifecta on the RTW's today with Pat 39 making a clean sweep. A top performance Pat 39.
Enjoy the photos and there is a good video on Facebook.
