These are the sailing days we really enjoy at The Bus Stop

Twelve very keen skippers agreed with me today and turned up ready to race. The sun was nice and a good northerly breeze.

Nigel 168 was due back today after a week off so I got there early to be ready for his return. When I arrived prior to 12:30, six were already there with boats on the water warming up to have a good time. Kent 717 helped me unload and set up for racing. He's a good guy who I think would make an excellent Race Officer. He helped me decide on the course which I'm sure you enjoyed while the breeze stayed in the Northerly quarter. Let racing begin.

Today I was impressed by how close the fleet was, everyone just seemed to handle the breeze and course brilliantly. Finishing in close bunches was the order of the day and lots of different skippers poked their nose out in front for a win leaving the rest of us to scrap for the minor places.

One standout today was Clive 998 who managed a good number of wins. More importantly he got stuck into the RTW's and masterfully won them both. Well done Clive.

I tied a video through my camera and you can view it on TRSC Facebook HERE
