DF 65 Thursday 22nd at the Bus stop,

Good turn out with a steady breeze even if it did change direction from time to time.

The coarse was set and we had a number of races some handicap, the a couple in reverse direction.

Ended the day with a couple of round the world races close racing with the leaders and the middle group.

Everyone went home happy.

Cheers Warren

ps Some of the guys are asking if we can race at the jetty.

OurTRSC group of DF65 sailors can sail where we like on the lake, any objections to moving to the bus stop ? I will send out an email soon asking everyone

Grahams Pros - not looking into the sun, dingy closer better courses, more stable direction and more likely to be and up and down lake breeze,.

Grahams Cons, no where to hide from high winds. Only a few of us own B and C rigs so if it blow it could be un sailable for Standard A rigs.

Course will be probably need to be altered each session for any non walking sailors visibility requirements.

TRSC Car parking rules must be followed, so our neighbors do not get upset,

Less public promotion.

Note We have the TRSC AGM next month sometime so this could be a good discussion point to be on the agenda by the DF65 sailors attending.
