It started good then turned to custard at The Bus Stop.

Twelve starters for an afternoon racing that started with a bang. Nigel 168 set a rectangular course into a NW breeze and racing began.

Mid afternoon a big black cloud assembled out toward the Kaimai then rolled in and dumped right in the lake. Half the fleet did a runner leaving six hard core skippers. \

At that point I showed up after the rain stopped and attending to an appointment. The wind was scrappy, but sailable. Harry 555 was dealing to the fleet and had a good lead and was sailing like a master. The rest were hard out trying to catch him, so I thought time to get my boat in and enjoy some of the fun.

We had some good races with various winners. Then, with another big black cloud assembling it was decided to have a quick RTW then off home for a cuppa tea and a lie down. 179 sneaked the win in the RTW.
