Another fantastic day to be at the lake sailing, except the wind hid from us. We managed quite a few races with a good fleet of boats. The dodgy conditions meant there were opportunities for some runaway winners while a couple of races were cliff hangers.

We had our first on the water protest today when John (Rotorua) was picked up for "outside assistance". He had a passing Swallow land on his Backstay Crane for a while. It was seen flapping its wings while still on board which gave John forward motion assistance. He complained that the Swallow came aboard uninvited and the protest was thrown out.

Another great winter day sailing with good company - well done guys!
