Nice in the Sun but Cold in the wind sort of Day

Eight eager sailors set out to challenge the elements that confronted them at the lake today.

N Westerlies prevailed in very light and fickle conditions, Nigel168 set the options of two courses, one being a short version of the other depending on the wind conditions at the time. That worked well.

Very much up and down results for some sailors today, but overall great turnout and atmosphere enjoyed by all.

Pat 39 made an appearance today after a brief absence and showed his usual good form.

Round the World were limited to two races, these being taken out by Pat 39 and the other by Rob 501 .

A group decision led to a hasty retreat due to the temperature drop and waning enthusiasm.
