A notch up on the breeze today at The Bus Stop

Ten boats came down to the lake to play today. A solid SW was piping down the full length of the lake putting up a moderate chop. Lots of sail adjustments today for the lads trying to contend with the big breeze. Some had B Rigs on and they were handling the puffs fairly well while the full A Rigs were struggling.

A straight Gated course set by Nigel 168 fitted the wind angle perfectly. Good old Mark No 4 played its part again and those who took a little more room to the right before rounding the mark were usually grateful that they missed a pile up.

The prizes were awarded for the Champs sailed last Monday and there are photos of winners. Thank you to those who could make it for the presentation. Congratulations to the worthy winners and I'm sure we are all keen to sail the Champs in 2028.

Two RTW's today - winners JR 611 and Pat 239, top racing guys.

Enjoy the photos.
