The day notched into Autumn today at The Bus Stop
The afternoon started off with the sun out and warm with a real light west breeze that was taking everyone nowhere. Nigel 168 did his best with a course made for the conditions. We all had the same breeze to sail in, so we got on with it and had some excellent racing.
With thirteen on the start line there were a few incidents, some did their penalties while others slunk off under cover of mayhem, that's the way it is. There were numerous winners today and I for one wasn't one of them. Look out on Thursday. I did notice John 235 (on handicap) sneak a couple of wins then took his boat out of the saying it wasn't performing right? Yeh right!
Avoiding holes and other boats was the name of the game today.
Pat 239 showed his form by winning two RTW's. Peter 448 (Matata) also sailed a nicely judged race to win the third RTW by a nice margin. Well done you two,
