We couldn't miss today at The Bus Stop, although a few did!

It wasn't too flash weather wise, but that's not a reason not to go to The Bus Stop! Well, twelve skippers turned up with rain coats and boats, ready for action. It was warm and rain threatening, but the good bit was we had plenty of breeze to power our little boats.

Nigel 168 set a very testing course that had a huge hole at one mark that devoured many a skipper during the afternoon. Those who took it as a challenge to get through that section enjoyed some blistering speed runs on other sections of the course. Racing was very competitive with lots of happy winners. We had the odd tangle of boats, but no rescues resulted.

The RTW was a torrid affair out front with Bob 909 and Pete 179 having a real scrap. Bob lost concentration for a second letting Pete take the gun. Just after that, we started RTW No 2. Unfortunately nature took over with a cloud burst so we abandoned the race and took cover. Another cracker day at The Bus Stop.

Enjoy the photos.
