A cracker DF65 racing day at The Bus Stop.

Thirteen starters today. A cool, but fine afternoon with a very nice SW wind coming all the way down the lake. A little bit of drama today when we almost lost 134. She took on a lot of water for some reason and was floating with just the bow and a little bit of sail above water. Emergency systems flew into action and you can follow the drama unfolding in the photos.

Today we decided to mark the racing to give skippers a taste of how they were sailing over a number of races.

Please excuse any mistakes, I did my best to record accurately, but when a bunch of boats finish together, it can be a daunting task seeing them all.

So, treat it as a indication of how you sailed on the day. I will do it again at a random time.

So, after a drama filled day it was down to the last two RTW races to see who had staying power.

RTW Race 1 went to John 611 and RTW Race 2 went to Nigel 168. Well done everyone, another excellent day racing.

Pete - just watching today.
